“Floribama Shore” Debuting Nov. 27
Sweet home Floribama/Where the skies are blue. MTV took eight kids from the South and put them in a house together, just like they did on Jersey Shore. Floribama Shore was filmed in the beach wonderland Panama City Beach on Florida’s panhandle. The show’s creator and executive producer, SallyAnn Salsano, says the eight cast members are “armed with incredible life experiences and standing at a crossroads, whether it’s ending a relationship, tasting independence for the first time, or trying to escape the past. This coming of age story captures the very real thrill and angst of being young and trying to figure out the future with a group of people you’ll come to call family.”
Jersey Shore broke most of MTV’s viewership records and was their most-watched television program of all time. The show also spawned reality shows on MTV’s foreign networks. There was Geordie Shore in the United Kingdom, Warsaw Shore in Poland, and Acapulco Shore in Mexico. The Poland and United Kingdom show sound interesting. I might have to look those up to see what kind of nightmare situations they were.
Floribama Shore Trailer
The producers of the show made sure to select cast members that were dumber than a box of rocks; Dumb folks equals ratings. If you don’t believe me, think back to Honey Boo-Boo and her family. I’ll be tuning into Floridabama Shore for the fistfights and catfights. There won’t be anything of substance on this program, that’s a guarantee. Check out the trailer and see for yourself. This show is sure to make every viewer lose some brain cells.
