Super Mario Cereal Coming Soon
After sleuthing and keeping track of the rumors for weeks, cereal and video game fanatics got the positive news they were waiting for: Super Mario Cereal is coming soon to American stores.
Cerealously.net contacted cereal producer Kellogg’s about the rumors of a new Super Mario Bros. cereal, and they responded in the affirmative.
“We cerealously appreciate your continued interest in seeing a Nintendo cereal, Chris! We hope you’ll keep an eye out for the new Super Mario Cereal that is hitting store shelves now. This star-shaped cereal features Super Mario-inspired marshmallows, and a limited number of packages will have an Amiibo powerup sticker that can be used on the Super Mario Odyssey game with the Nintendo Switch gaming console. We also appreciate your additional feedback regarding classic cereal favorites, and thanks for taking the time to write!”
Kellogg’s Announces On Their UK/IRE Twitter Account: Brits Can’t Have Any Mario Cereal
When Kellogg’s broke the news to their British customers that they aren’t allowed to have any Super Mario Cereal, the rowdy fans
took to the streets and burned buildings voiced their displeasure.
Twitter user, Poom Chompoosri, tweeted: “Please release it in the UK so I can get my gf to get me tens of them!”
She sounds like a great girlfriend. I don’t even have a “gf” because I’m a loser who nobody wants around. If I want Mario Cereal, I’m going to have to buy it myself.
Users from other countries, such as Spain, also begged for Super Mario cereal to be released in their country. Sorry, but it’s just not feasible for Kellogg’s to release every cereal that they create in every market.
Perhaps some of you will remember when Nintendo blessed the world with their Nintendo Cereal System that consisted of both Zelda and Mario cereals in one box. Yummy. “They sure don’t make cereal like they used to, you young whippersnappers. Back in my day…”
